Why we are here...
Energy can be defined as the
capacity to do work. Since India is a developing country we need
more energy for continuous progress. While efforts are being made
to improve availability of various energy sources, there is still
a continuing gap between demand and supply of energy. Conservation
and efficient utilization of energy resources play a vital role in
narrowing the gap between demand and supply of energy. Improving
energy efficiency is probably the most economical way of narrowing
the gap.
Considering the vast potential of energy savings and benefits of
energy efficiency, the Government of India has enacted the Energy
Conservation Act, 2001 (52 of 2001). The Act provides for the
legal framework, institutional arrangement and a regulatory
mechanism at the Central and State level to embark upon energy
efficiency drive in the country.
We are here to suggest /implement methods for reduction of energy
cost & consumption, so that profitability of our corporate sector
increases & core energy resources do not get depleted in near
future to come. |
